Lizzy Yarnold is fronting a new campaign by the English Institute of Sport in partnership with UK Sport and British Skeleton to find the next generation of Olympic hopefuls set for stardom at the 2022 Winter Games. As a former Great Britain heptathlete who transferred her speed and power to ice to compete in the sliding sport of bobsleigh Caroline jumped at the chance to interview Lizzy and watch the young hopefuls in action. She even took part herself completing the watt bike test and standing jump test.

“I’m not sure I’ll be coming out of retirement to challenge these athletes but from what I saw today the future looks bright for British skeleton. And with Lizzy as a mentor and inspiration to all there’s a clear path to success for those with the talent and dedication”.

The feature will air on BT Sport’s ‘SportsHUB’ show later in May.
